So, we had a nice Stake Conference yesterday. It's always nice to hear from the Priesthood leaders of the Stake. We also had a member of a quorum of the 70s visiting. He was there to split our stake. We now have the McKinney Stake and the Allen Stake. The outgoing presidency and incoming presidency both bore their testimonies. Both of the visiting authorities spoke about the atonement, and did a very nice job.
The ward building that we go to is now in the Allen stake. It makes me wonder if they'll move us to a different building. Unfortunately the stake center already has four wards going there, so maybe they'll just leave us until the new building on Lake Forest is done. We'll see. I just hope they don't announce anything next week, since we won't be there! I'll have to check with someone before we go to church when we get back.
Hopefully they'll finish the Lake Forest building soon and we'll both be in there. Then we'll maybe see each other in the hall and skip class and chat:)

ReplyDeleteI'd be excited to be in the same building as you guys. It wouldn't be as good as the same ward, but better than different buildings!
