I've seen a few of these floating around the blogging world lately, and I thought it would be fun to do for Valentine's Day.

all together - 6 1/2 years

How long did you date?

we dated for six months and were engaged for five months

david is 27

i think it's about equal

david - by a good 9 or 10 inches

Who sings better?

i'm more comfortable singing in public, but i don't think i'm better

Who is smarter?

we're both smart in different areas

Who does the laundry?

i do, but dave pitches in. speaking of laundry....

Who does the dishes?

i do, but dave pitches in when i need help on this one too

Who sleeps on the right side of the bed?

dave does - he likes to sleep closest to the door.  some sort of protection urge or something

Who pays the bills?

i do

Who mows the lawn?

neither of us :) we pay someone, since we both hate it so much

Who cooks dinner?

i cook monday through friday, and some saturdays.  dave cooks every sunday, which i love!  he is an awesome cook, and i love the break, of course

Who kissed who first?

it was all very romantic - dave took my glasses off (i usually wear contacts, but sometimes i wear my glasses), and kissed me

Who asked who out?

david asked me

david, of course! on a monday at my parent's house

surprisingly, dave is

Who has more friends?

i do - i'm more social

Who has more siblings?

i do - dave has three brothers, and i have an older brother who was premature, and two brothers and a sister

Who wears the pants in the relationship?

i think we're pretty good partners, but i think dave might say that i'm in charge :)

Happy Valentines day, Dave!  I love you, and have loved our seven Valentine's days together.  I'm excited to see what the next seven years together brings.
